Get answers to common questions about Extended Bikini Wax.
An Extended Bikini Wax removes hair beyond the standard bikini line, covering a wider area while leaving some intimate hair. Our estheticians customize coverage to your preference. Sessions usually require 15 to 30 minutes depending on area and hair density.
Some clients feel brief stinging during waxing, but discomfort is short-lived. We use soothing pre- and post-wax care, gentle techniques, and high-quality wax to reduce pain. Numbing creams and timing appointments when skin is calm can also help.
For best results hair should be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long (roughly 5–12 mm). This length allows the wax to grip effectively. If hair is shorter bring recent trimming details; if longer a trim may be performed.
Most clients schedule Extended Bikini Wax appointments every four to six weeks as hair regrowth varies. Over time regular waxing can reduce density and slow growth. We’ll recommend a personalized schedule based on your hair cycle and desired maintenance.
Yes. Avoid sun exposure, tanning, exfoliating or using topical retinoids 48 to 72 hours before waxing. Clean, dry skin with hair at recommended length ensures better results. Communicate medications or sensitivities when booking for safe treatment.
Pregnancy: waxing is generally safe, but check with your healthcare provider. We can accommodate pregnant clients with care and positioning adjustments. Menstruation: you can still get waxed—bring protection and communicate comfort needs; some prefer to reschedule if uncomfortable.
